What it does
She books. She does not take a message.
- Real appointments, not notes. She writes into the shop’s actual book against actual availability, so the booking is made while the client is still on the line.
- Texts next. She is built to answer texts with the same knowledge and the same tools. That switches on when carrier registration for texting is finished.
- Answers off live shop data. Hours, prices, who works Saturdays, when your next appointment is. Nothing she says is a static script somebody has to remember to update.

Why it exists
Both hands are busy
A barbershop’s phone rings while both hands are in someone’s hair. That is not a staffing problem anyone is going to solve, it is the shape of the work. So the call goes to voicemail, and a voicemail asking for a Saturday appointment is a booking that already lost to whoever picked up.
The after-hours version is worse and easier to measure. Somebody decides at 9 PM that they need a cut before a wedding, calls, gets a recording, and books somewhere else before they go to bed. Operator answers that call, quotes the price, and puts them in a chair.
What matters is that she can finish: read the real book, offer a real slot, and write the appointment down where the shop will see it in the morning.
